The Sri Lankan Star Ajanta Mendis made a record for fastest 50 wickets in ODI. He took 50 wickets in just 19 matches; he overtook the previous record holder India's Ajith Agarkar who took 50 wickets in 21 matches. Mendis is becoming a great super star in International cricket. Because of his wonderful bowling in Asia cup finals, Sri Lanka won the cup. That day the whole world stunned from the bowling of Ajanta Mendis.He also made a record for highest wicket taker as a debutant in Test series.
